Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2016 (EAMCET – 2016) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad.

AP Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2016 (AP EAMCET – 2016) will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2016-2016 in the University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
AP & Telangana States separately conducting the EAMCET 2016 in (2) States. At last Govt of AP also decided to conduct the AP EAMCET 2016 by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. So now there is now confusion AP EAMCET 2016 and Telangana EAMCET 2016 will be conducted separately.

AP EAMCET 2016 Application Forms will be available from February 20, 2016. The last date for receipt of AP EAMCET 2016 Application Form without fine is April 4, 2016. The EAMCET 2016 also known as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance test. The exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). When it comes to choosing a stream after class 12, majority of parents want their children to go with Science. The reason behind this; engineers, doctors and scientists are termed as highly respected professionals across the globe. But earning an degree in the above mentioned streams is not as easy as it sounds. One has to go through plenty of common entrance tests; given the availability of several higher degree colleges in India. Apart from colleges, even some states have their own entrance tests. Similar to other state entrance tests, EAMCET is an aptitude test that is held every year by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test. The exam is a prerequisite for getting admission to those colleges in Andhra Pradesh, which offers under graduate courses in Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine.
Jawharalal Nehru Technological University (Hyderabad) is the apex body that regulates and controls EAMCET.
Eligibility for EAMCET 2016:-
•Candidates should be of indian nationality.
•Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Educational Qualification:-
For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:-
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects taken together at 10+2 pattern.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course
For B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) Courses:-
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:
Students can take admission to various Engineering, Agriculture and Medical courses in several universities of Andhra Pradesh through EAMCET 2016. The application form of EAMCET 2016 will be available most probably in the month of February 2016 and the exam will be held at various centers in May/ June 2016.
