The University of Manipur (mostly known as Manipur University) is located in the city of Canchipur, Imphal, Manipur, India. The University is a public state University. It is so old and well reputed University in the city of Manipur, India. The University was established in the month of June 1980 under the Manipur University Act as a teaching cum-affiliating University for providing higher education for the students. The library and Laboratory facilities are also very good in the University campus. The University was recognized by the University Grant Commission.
The University has many departments with containing various faculties like us; Arts, Agriculture, Science, Technology etc. There are different departments which they provide different courses for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The University also provides the diploma courses for the students like us; PhD, Law etc.
